PROCESSING OPTIONS:
Panels can be layered, bevelled, printed, etched, shaped and moulded as required. Please enquire about your proposed designs.
INSTALLATION:
May be glued using a suitable wall or ceiling adhesive, installed with invisible mechanical fixing products or suspended with optional suspension cable kits. Full instructions and guidelines for fixing and placement are included in all packs.
SUSTAINABILITY:
OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, PetFelt contains a minimum of 75% recycled polyester fibre (post-consumer, from PET bottle-flake), ensuring comparatively low embodied energy. Off-cuts and manufacturing waste are reused or recycled wherever possible. Uncontaminated panels can be recycled.

A: Yes. While our standard sheets come in 2440mm x 1220mm, PetFelt is a versatile material that can be directly produced or CNC cut to virtually any bespoke shape, logo, or geometric design. Because the material is solid colour throughout (not a veneer), the cut edges are clean and do not require edging or framing.

A: PetFelt panels are lightweight and can be installed easily using a high-grab contact adhesive (such as our TensorGrip spray) or off-the-shelf construction adhesive. for a adhesive-free installation, they can also be mechanically fixed using screws, invisible fixings, pin-nails or a Z-clip system. The material is robust enough to pin into, making it perfect for office noticeboards.

A: Our 24mm panels achieve an NRC (Noise Reduction Coefficient) of 0.75 when direct-fixed to a wall. If installed with a 50mm air gap behind the panel, this performance increases to NRC 0.90, absorbing 90% of the sound energy that hits them.

Unlike foam, which can crumble, discolor, and degrade over time, PetFelt is impact-resistant, rigid, and color-fast. It is also the sustainable choice; made from 65% recycled post-consumer plastic bottles, it contains no chemical binders and is fully recyclable.

A: Safety is our priority. Our PetFelt material is tested to EN13501-1 Class B-s1/2,d0. This makes them suitable for use in the majority of commercial, educational, and public environments where fire safety compliance is mandatory. They are self-extinguishing and do not produce toxic smoke or flaming droplets.
