Recycled PET Fibre - Robust, light, no irritation, eco-friendly, washable, fade-resistant, fireproof

Sustainability:
Contains a minimum of 75% recycled polyester fibre (Post-consumer, from PET bottle-flake), ensuring comparatively low embodied energy. Off-cuts and manufacturing waste are reused or recycled wherever possible. Uncontaminated panels can be recycled.
Installation:
May be bonded using a suitable wall or ceiling adhesive, fixed with screw, pinnails or standard picture hanging products. Can also be suspended with optional suspension cable kits. Full instructions and guidelines for fixing and placement are included in all orders.

A: Aesthetically, the 3D texture creates incredible shadow lines and visual depth. Acoustically, the undulating surface helps to diffuse (scatter) sound waves as well as absorb them. This combination of absorption and diffusion makes a room sound more "natural" and balanced, rather than just "dead.

A: Minimally. Our Wave panels add texture without significant bulk. They are designed to be slimline while providing maximum surface area for absorption. This makes them ideal for corridors or meeting rooms where space is at a premium.

A: PetFelt is naturally stain-resistant and anti-static. For regular maintenance, the panels can be vacuumed with a soft brush attachment to remove dust from the waves. Spills can be spot-cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent.

A: Yes. While our standard sheets come in 2440mm x 1220mm, PetFelt is a versatile material that can be directly produced or CNC cut to virtually any bespoke shape, logo, or geometric design. Because the material is solid colour throughout (not a veneer), the cut edges are clean and do not require edging or framing.

PetFelt panels are lightweight and can be installed easily using a high-grab contact adhesive (such as our TensorGrip spray) or off-the-shelf construction adhesive. for a adhesive-free installation, they can also be mechanically fixed using screws, invisible fixings, pin-nails or a Z-clip system. The material is robust enough to pin into, making it perfect for office noticeboards.

A: Safety is our priority. Our PetFelt material is tested to EN13501-1 Class B-s1/2,d0. This makes them suitable for use in the majority of commercial, educational, and public environments where fire safety compliance is mandatory. They are self-extinguishing and do not produce toxic smoke or flaming droplets.
