100 finishes available - see Product Datasheet for reference.
Sustainability:
Contains a minimum of 75% recycled polyester fibre (Post-consumer, from PET bottle-flake), ensuring comparatively low embodied energy. Off-cuts and manufacturing waste are reused or recycled wherever possible. Uncontaminated panels can be recycled.
Installation:
May be bonded using a suitable wall or ceiling adhesive, fixed with screw, pinnails or standard picture hanging products. Can also be suspended with optional suspension cable kits. Full instructions and guidelines for fixing and placement are included in all orders.
NRC:
9mm = 0.40 | + AirGap (50mm) = 0.80
12mm = 0.40
24mm = 0.75 | + (25mm) = 0.85 | + (50mm) = 0.90
NRC = Noise reduction coefficient. A measure of a panel's overall sound reduction/absorption, ranging from 0=zero to 1=100% absorption
Fire Rating:
EN 13501-1:2018 - Class B-s1/2,d0

Frequently Asked Questions
About PetFelt Woods
-
A: The primary advantage is acoustic performance. Real timber is a hard surface that reflects sound, often making noise problems worse. PetFelt Woods gives you the warm, premium aesthetic of real oak, pine, or walnut (etc), but because it is a porous felt material, it absorbs sound (NRC 0.75 - 0.90) instead of reflecting it. It is also significantly lighter and cheaper to install than solid wood.
-
A: Yes. We manufacture PetFelt Woods Baffles and Beams. These are designed to mimic the look of heavy structural timber beams or glulam beams. However, because they are made from lightweight felt and suspended/mounted on thin cables, they require no heavy structural reinforcement in the ceiling, making them perfect for retrofitting the "industrial look" into modern offices safely.
-
A: It is a high-definition digital print directly onto the fiber. Unlike a veneer which can peel or crack, our printing process bonds the image to the felt. This ensures the panel stays breathable (for sound absorption) and flexible. We offer over 100 timber variants, allowing you to match existing joinery or furniture perfectly.
-
A: Yes. While our standard sheets come in 2440mm x 1220mm, PetFelt is a versatile material that can be directly produced or CNC cut to virtually any bespoke shape, logo, or geometric design. Because the material is solid colour throughout (not a veneer), the cut edges are clean and do not require edging or framing.
-
A: Safety is our priority. Our PetFelt material is tested to EN13501-1 Class B-s1/2,d0. This makes them suitable for use in the majority of commercial, educational, and public environments where fire safety compliance is mandatory. They are self-extinguishing and do not produce toxic smoke or flaming droplets.
