However, because they are made from lightweight felt and suspended/mounted on thin cables, they require no heavy structural reinforcement in the ceiling, making them perfect for retrofitting the "industrial look" into modern offices safely.

Because the material is solid colour throughout (not a veneer), the cut edges are clean and do not require edging or framing.
