A: No, it is a high-performance acoustic felt designed to look like terrazzo. Real terrazzo is concrete and stone—hard surfaces that create terrible echoes. Our PetFelt Terrazzo offers the trendy, speckled aesthetic of stone but is soft, porous, and warm to the touch, effectively absorbing noise (NRC 0.75 - 0.90) instead of reflecting it.

A: Yes. We offer a standard range of colorways (such as Grey/White, Pink/Grey, and Multi), but because we print digitally in-house, we can customize the colour palette to match your brand or interior scheme. If you need blue chips to match your company logo, we can print it.

A: The panel retains the soft, fibrous texture of our standard PetFelt. The terrazzo pattern is a high-resolution print infused into the fibers. This matte texture enhances the realism, removing the "plastic" shine often found in vinyl alternatives, while ensuring the acoustic pores remain open to trap sound.

A: The print is designed for longevity. Because the image is applied directly to the robust PetFelt fibers, it is fade-resistant, impact-resistant, and will not crack or peel like a sticker. This makes printed panels ideal for busy corridors, schools, or reception areas where they can double as durable wayfinding signage or branding walls.

A: Yes. While our standard sheets come in 2440mm x 1220mm, PetFelt is a versatile material that can be directly produced or CNC cut to virtually any bespoke shape, logo, or geometric design. Because the material is solid colour throughout (not a veneer), the cut edges are clean and do not require edging or framing.

PetFelt acoustic panels are lightweight and can be installed easily using a high-grab contact adhesive (such as our TensorGrip spray) or off-the-shelf construction adhesive. for a adhesive-free installation, they can also be mechanically fixed using screws, invisible fixings, pin-nails or a Z-clip system. The material is robust enough to pin into, making it perfect for office noticeboards.

A: Safety is our priority. Our PetFelt material is tested to EN13501-1 Class B-s1/2,d0. This makes them suitable for use in the majority of commercial, educational, and public environments where fire safety compliance is mandatory. They are self-extinguishing and do not produce toxic smoke or flaming droplets.
